Generally, Two blood tests are needed to know if you Hepatitis C
First Test

This test checks to see if you have ever had the Hep C virus. A positive result does not mean you have Hep C.
Second Test
Antibodies
If you are antibody positive the PCR test will confirm if you are currently infected. If this result is positive until treated you can pass it on to other people.
Positive
If you are antibody positive the PCR test will confirm if you are currently infected. If this result is positive until treated you can pass it on to other people.
No Treatment
If you are antibody positive the PCR test will confirm if you are currently infected. If this result is positive until treated you can pass it on to other people.
PCR Test
If you are antibody positive the PCR test will confirm if you are currently infected. If this result is positive until treated you can pass it on to other people.
